Welcome to Mini Marketa, Australia's marketplace for pre-loved kids' toys.

Nice to meet you, I'm Andrea. Aunty to eight (yes, eight) nieces and nephews, aged six to twenty-two. I became an aunty at twelve, which means two decades of watching toys cycle through childhood: the foam aeroplane that doesn't survive the basketball hoop, and the stationary arcade bike that gets passed down for ten years at my mum's house (aka Yiayia Maureen). These are the toys that become lasting memories.

Spoiling these kids is my love language. After years of hunting down toys built to last, helping pass them on sustainably is the next chapter, and one that matters to me.

That's where Mini Marketa comes in. We make it easy for Australian families to buy and sell good quality second-hand toys.

I've spent over a decade in product, across Product Management and Design, and was a Finalist in the Tech category at the 2024 B&T Women in Media Awards, presented by Are Media. Mini Marketa is my way of putting those skills to work: boosting the circular economy of pre-loved toys and making buying and selling as easy as it should be.

Our foundation rests on four pillars:

• Quality: toys with plenty of life left.
• Trust: no risk on either side of the sale. We personally verify every seller.
• Sustainability: easier to reuse, less to waste.
• Convenience: fast, simple, minimal admin.
