How does buying on Mini Marketa work?

Browse, buy, and check out like a normal online shop.

Every toy in our shop comes from Play It Forward, our community toy drive. Families donate the toys their kids have outgrown, and we clean, check and list each one ourselves.

We pack and post your order Australia-wide with tracking.

Every purchase also supports the Trilogy Foundation Canterbury Bankstown, because profits from Play It Forward toys go to them.
What packaging will my order arrive in?

Preloved toys don't all fit the same box. A board game needs different packaging than a tricycle. So we use recycled boxes whenever we can: clean ones saved from deliveries, moves, and shopping trips, chosen to fit what's inside.

That means your order might arrive in something unglamorous (an Amazon box, a cereal carton, you get the idea). No branded mailers, no one-size-fits-all. But it's clean, secure, and it's one less box heading to landfill. If you like, you can pass it on when your own toy moves to its next home.
Where does the money go?

100% of profits from Play It Forward toys go to the Trilogy Foundation Canterbury Bankstown. Profit means what's left from sale prices after payment, packaging and our basic running costs like storage and the website. Funds go directly to Trilogy's special education units for children with disabilities.

Stage 1: $1,000 for Trilogy. Once Stage 1 is complete, Mini Marketa will permanently donate 50% of net profit to the Trilogy Foundation.

Will I get a tracking number?

Yes. Once your parcel is posted, we'll send you the tracking number.
How can I trust Mini Marketa?

Every toy on Mini Marketa has been through our hands before it's listed.

That means:

  • We clean and check each toy ourselves, and note any wear honestly
  • You pay through our secure checkout, never a stranger
  • We pack and send your order ourselves
  • If there's an issue, we step in and resolve it

Are the toys safe and clean?

Yes. Every toy is cleaned and checked for completeness before it's listed. If a toy has any wear, it's noted honestly in the listing.

Buying second-hand on Facebook Marketplace or Gumtree usually means messaging strangers, organising cash pick ups and hoping the toy is as described.

We know parents are busy and don't have time to haggle or chase people, so we remove that layer entirely.
